Who has a better win percentages, has the jockey a record of scoring improbable wins, which suggests he is especially gifted, has the trainer a record of turning out regular winners irrespective of the jockey, which implies he is skilled beyond standard; and in this comparison, where does the horse stand, can a great jockey in association with a great trainer make a winner of a horse of mediocre abilities?
